Satan Crooz is a wild, hand-crafted display font inspired by the legendary Santa Cruz skateboard logo art, originally created by Jim Phillips. For decades, I searched for a typeface that truly captured the raw, electrifying scribble style of the original logotype — but nothing came close. So I decided to make it myself.
Satan Crooz brings the authentic, high-voltage energy of 80s skateboarding graphics to life, paying tribute to the bold spirit of Santa Cruz and its fearless visual language. Each letter is carefully drawn to echo that gritty, rebellious, and unmistakably punk attitude, perfect for posters, album covers, or any design that dares to scream.
