Quincento Font, pronounced queen-chento, is an Art Deco-inspired font family characterized by the use of verticals and geometric shapes. While working on a previous family, Goldroom, several ideas and elements were discarded from the final version. Instead of adding variations to an already busy project, a new family was born with a completely different identity. This uppercase display font alternates between thin, elegant curves and sharp 90-degree angles. The rounded corners can be replaced in some cases by alternating uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as alternating glyphs. Tall, wavy, and nostalgic, it captures the decorative mood that dominated pop culture during the Roaring Twenties. Use it for a retro poster, a restaurant logo, or Gatsby-themed invitations.
Quincento features basic and extended Latin, punctuation, kerning, and alternations. Please see the glyph map for all supported characters.
