Nudista Font Family is a monolinear, geometric sans-serif typeface based on the proportions of the Purista typeface, published in 2007. The shapes are not strictly square, but rather oval and round. The outlines of the letters are smooth, even technical, but the geometric precision is compensated for where it would impair readability and compromise the desired visual impact. Nudista was originally designed as a display typeface, but it is sufficiently readable even in text size. It is therefore suitable for short texts in corporate printed matter.
The letters with carefully chiseled curves are robust and well suited to the difficult conditions of low-resolution printing devices, they work well on computer and mobile phone screens. However, Nudista works best in corporate systems, navigation and orientation systems, where it can be, also thanks to the sufficient range of weights, a good alternative to the well-known and therefore somewhat overused DIN. The Naked typeface, without unnecessary decorations, serves humbly in all places where overly expressive characters could be disturbing.
