Mosir Font Family – The history of this typeface begins in Iran, where I came across the “TECHNO” shop display while there. I liked the brutalist and geometric forms in this typeface and started sketching. After attending to “SOLEC GYM” for some time, I finally appreciated the craftsmanship with which the neon sign above the entrance was designed. The pieces of the puzzle finally came together and that’s how MOSIR came to be. The type family features a modular design with rounded details that look either thoroughly modern or completely old-school, depending on the company. MOSIR has 5 weights and will work well where we are looking for a strong geometric character with a friendly aesthetic. Karol Mularczyk and MaĆgorzata Bartosik worked on the project under the creative direction of Mateusz Machalski.
