Kommune Font Family is a display typeface inspired by the vernacular shop- and promotion letterings of Burkina Faso. Originally designed as a stencil typeface for the solo show and accompanying catalogue of Burkina Faso born Architect Francis Kéré (famous for his Laongo Opera Village and communal school buildings) at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, it is now also available in a new version as a normal, non stencil typeface.
