The EastBroadway typography has its origin in some vinyl cutter letters that I found and collect some pictures in the Lower East Side neighborhood, from the EastBroadway subway station area to 13th Street and 1st Avenue in New York. A clash between an improvised craft made to elaborate fast and saving signs with a 40 weights type family + 1 variable font with weight and width axes, everything you need to make any word fit in your layout.
