Bridging Eastern European with Futuristic Modernism, Cobalt 27 pays homage to the 1920’s and 30’s typefaces of the constructivist movement. Glyph ascenders and descenders are lengthened to create characters akin to a condensed font, allowing for more letters per line without loss of readability. Shoulders have been narrower to create optically visually same widths across all glyphs.
